1、Technological process for taking cassava starch residue to produce edible ordinary alcohol
2、Brief description of technological Convey the cassava starch residue by material pump (1) to special filter (2) for squeezing and filtering. Collect the starch residue (water content is 55%) after squeezing and filtering by hopper. Transport the material to bucket elevator (5). Pass through the elevator, send the material to material steamer (6) to steam the material and sterilize. After the material is pressure steamed, it passed through vibratory hopper (7), screw conveyor (8), crusher (9), then to wind cooler (10). The material which is cooled by wind is conveyed by material mixing conveyor, then seeding by the inoculum liquid which is from seeding tank (12). Transport the material by skip to fermentation pool (14) for fermentation. The fermented material is transported by skip to alcohol steamer (15). Distill it, the alcoholic vapour through condenser (16) flows to thin alcohol tank (The strength of alcohol is 55%). Thin alcohol is purified through No.1 distillation tower (18) and then sent to No. 2 rectifying tower for deeper purification. Finally the finished product can meets Chinese national edible alcohol standard GB10343-2002 ordinary grade.
